After graduating with a Master’s degree in English in Lausanne including a semester at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, I left to study and teach at the State University of New York at Buffalo. I then became a doctoral assistant at the University of Lausanne where I teach “English Composition”, “Introduction to Literary Analysis”, and “Explications de textes”. My PhD project analyzes the cultural negotiation of law, violence, and justice in Linda Hogan (Chickasaw), Louise Erdrich (Chippewa), Eden Robinson (Haisla), and Marie Clements (Métis). This project thus focuses on Indigenous studies, as well as feminist and critical legal studies.
