Kirill Melnikov is a doctoral assistant in English and Comparative literature. He is interested in examining the inter-creative dialogue between authors from different cultures, literatures, genres and time periods through comparative analysis and his current research focus is on the previously unexplored connection between Angela Carter’s fiction and Russian literature of late 19th/early 20th century.
