1-4 April 2019 - Ghent, Belgium
Potent lipid mediators regulate a vast array of processes in plants and animals. The international Regulatory Oxylipins meeting will bring together leading researchers working on jasmonates and other oxygenated fatty acid derivatives. In the last years there has been great progress in this area and this has led to the realization that fatty acid-derived mediators play major roles in defense, reproduction and plant physiology. As the field progresses it is increasingly obvious that recent discoveries may have applications in agriculture and beyond. Talks will span the range of structural biology, signal transduction, genomics, ecology and evolutionary biology. Moreover, the meeting will be held in a beautiful and historical auditorium in the heart of Ghent, one of Europe’s most attractive cities.
