Ph.D. in Life Sciences
Thesis: "Role of genetic and social factors in modulating the efficiency of division of labour in social insects", supervised by Dario Floreano at the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (LIS) at EPFL and Laurent Keller at the University of Lausanne (Unil), Switzerland

2004 - 2009
PhD, Collaboration between the University of Lausanne, Department of Ecology and Evolution and EPFL, Laboratory of Intelligent Systems.
Supervisor: Prof. Laurent Keller and Prof. Dario Floreano.

2003-2004
Worked under the guidance of Max Lungarella, Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Zurich on the use of Information Theory to quantify behavior in simulated robots.

2001 - 2003
Master of Technology in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Dissertation project: Object based video segmentation.
Supervisor: Dr. Kavi Arya and Dr. Vikram Gadre.
