Research Interests

My PhD is part of a project on metapopulation processes, in collaboration with Nicolas Perrin, Alexandre Hirzel, Laura Bräendli and Jerome Pellet. A theoretical approach is used to investigate the connections between the concepts of metapopulation capacity (demography) and effective size Ne (genetics). We plan to exploit the output of this approach when analysing empirical data from two free-ranging species, the European tree frog (Hyla arborea) and the greater white-toothed shrew (Crocidura russula).
