Research interests
I am interested in the genetics of social behaviour, particularly in ants. In fire ants, a single gene, Gp-9, is not only linked to social forms but also involved in many biological processes. I am working on the gene expression differences among individuals with different Gp-9 genotypes in both sexual females and males.
