I’m interested in research that aims to better understand the relationship between genetic variation within species and complex phenotypical traits. So, I’m very keen on quantitative aspects of biology, data analysis techniques and bioinformatics methods that can help addressing these sort of biological questions. More specifically, I’m currently investigating what could be the underlying reasons at the genetic level that can explain variation in plant growth on a symbiotic system formed by Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and Cassava.
