This site is dedicated to sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) law, i.e. legal issues pertaining to sexual orientation and/or gender identity. This field includes fields such as criminal law, human rights law, anti-discrimination law, and family law. The Law School offers currently a course "Loi fédérale sur l'égalité" (Mme Christine Sattiva Spring, CC) in French.
Within the University of Lausanne the project cooperates with the Plateforme en études genre (PlaGE) and in particular its Interdisciplinary Research Group on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI Research Group).
The latter participates in a project among all Swiss universities: GenderCampus.ch (Network Gender Studies CH).
The Chair of Public International Law publishes regularly in this field and represents Switzerland and Liechtenstein in the European Commission of Experts on Sexual Orientation Law (ECSOL).
