Mission

The mission of the Immune Landscape Laboratory (ILL) platform is to assist researchers in the state of the art analysis of the tumor microenvironment using fluorescence multiplex imaging and digital spatial profiling.

Such a multimodal approach is expected to provide high resolution, spatial and molecular picture of global tumor architecture and interrelations of its individual components, such as immune and cancer cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells or extracellular matrix. Coupled with advanced bioinformatics analyses, the results will be important for identification of biomarkers of treatment responses.

The ILL platform is a part of the Centre of experimental therapeutics and as such, part of the Department of oncology UNIL CHUV.

Offer

The ILL Platform offers a tissue-processing platform where FFPE samples are freshly cut for further processing, and four analytic platforms :

  1. Multiplex Immunofluorescence platform for 7-plex staining and high-definition whole slide scanning of FFPE sections and detailed analyses with dedicated software.
  2. RNAscope, Basescope and miRNAScope on FFPE sections with detailed analyses of specific RNA targets in situ, from mRNA, specific TCR and micro RNA.
  3. RNA extraction and profiling on Ncounter (Nanostring)
  4. Digital Spatial profiling of Protein (91-plex) and RNA (1800 to 18000 targets) on FFPE sections (GeoMxDSP, Nanostring).
