General welcome of the University of Lausanne

To mark the start of your university studies in the current health context, the University of Lausanne has reinvented the Welcome Week, which precedes the start of the academic year.

Since 21 August, a series of newsletters has been sent to you on your private email containing practical and useful information! Check your spam if you don't receive anything!

The welcome video shown on 7 September, opening UNIL's Welcome Week for new students, is full of useful information for the beginning of your studies. New videos will be uploaded throughout the Welcome Week. Feel free to watch them!

Welcome by the School of Biology.

An information session for new first year students of the Bachelor of Biology and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences will be held on :

Monday, September 14, 2020, at 8:00 am or 9:30 am

Auditoire Erna Hamburger 350, Amphimax

For health reasons, registration is mandatory as the number of places per session is limited. Please register for one of the two schedules proposed via this link.

These sessions will also be available in live streaming. However, participation in one of the sessions is highly recommended for all new students. You will learn more about credits, how to regulate your presence on campus, registration for courses, distance learning, etc.

Some advice to begin smoothly:

  1. It is essential to activate your email account provided by the University for the duration of your studies, on the website of the Centre informatique. You will need your username and your password to access the site for course registration and for the portal MyUNIL, which enables you to obtain course materials and track your academic record. The address were you can activate your email address is here.

  2. We recommend that you keep yourself informed about the development of your studies as soon as they begin, then regularly, by consulting the website of the School of Biology.

  3. We recommend that you always refer to the legal texts, for which only the versions in French hold legal standing.
