Class days start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays every other week.
In addition, tutorial sessions (optional, but highly recommended) and elective workshops are regularly organised in the evenings of weekend class from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Each course will be evaluated. The format of the exam varies according to the professor's decision. It could be a written exam, an oral exam/presentation or assignments throughout the course.
Exams take place in the end of each course. Exam hours are included in the programme schedule and do not necessitate extra presence on campus.
The Abroad Module takes place during five to seven days abroad in one of our partner universities. The objective of this module is to get the experience and expertise that the chosen partner university can offer to our participants.
The time spent studying outside the classroom varies from participant to participant. Based upon our participants' feedback we estimate you should spend in average 2 hours of individual work for one hour in class.
It is in your responsibility to catch up the class with your classmates and professor.
Participants who do not attend an exam get a grade of 0 (zero) and must resit the missed exam. In case of an absence categorised as a « cas de force majeur », a medical or professional certificate must be provided.
Most of the course documents (course slides, cases, readings, etc.) are electronically provided.
The estimated cost for compulsory books is between CHF 400 and CHF 500. Copies of these books are available for loan at the HEC library.
