Lors de la Cérémonie de remise des Prix de la FBM qui a eu lieu le 29 novembre 2011, onze Prix de Faculté sont venus récompenser des jeunes chercheurs qui se sont distingués par leurs travaux.
Ces prix ont été attribués aux :
Dr Reto Burri pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences de la vie intitulé:
"New insights into the long-term evolutionary history of the avian MHC", qui a abouti à 7 publications dans des revues différentes.
Dr Lukas Baitsch pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences intitulé:
"Self/tumor-specific CD8 T-cells show molecular signatures of exhaustion in metastases but not in peripheral blood".
Dr Menno Pruijm pour son travail de thèse de doctorat en médecine intitulé:
"Effect of sodium loading/depletion on renal oxygenation in young normotensive and hypertensive men", publié dans le journal Hypertension.
Dr Mirko Santello pour son excellent travail intitulé:
"TNFalpha controls glutamatergic gliotransmission in the hippocampal dentate gyrus", publié dans la revue Neuron.
Dr Loane Decrausaz pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences de la vie intitulé:
"Novel immunotherapeutic strategies against human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) induced lesions and cervical cancer", qui a permis la publication de 3 articles dans la revue International Journal of Cancer.
Dr Nathalie Scherz pour son travail de thèse de doctorat en médecine intitulé:
"Prognostic importance of hyponatremia in patients with acute pulmonary embolism", publié dans le journal American journal of respiratory and critical care medicine.
Dr Samir Lahzami pour son travail de thèse de doctorat en médecine intitulé:
"Survival impact of lung transplantation for COPD", publié dans la revue European Respiratory Journal.
Dr Manuele Rebsamen pour son travail de thèse de doctorat en biologie intitulé:
"DAI/ZBP1 recruits RIP1 and RIP3 through RIP homotypic interaction motifs of activate NF-kappaB", qui a abouti à la publication de ses résultats dans les revues EMBO reports et Cell death and differentiation.
Dr Julia Di Iulio pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences de la vie intitulé:
"Pharmacogenetics of antiviral treatment", qui a abouti à plusieurs publications dans différentes revues.
Dr Claire Bertelli pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences de la vie intitulé:
"Genomics of chlamydia-related bacteria", ainsi que pour sa participation comme premier ou co-premier auteur dans 6 publications.
Dr Marion Cornu pour son travail de thèse de doctorat ès sciences de la vie intitulé:
"Control of pancreatic beta-cell mass and function by gluco-incretin hormones: identification of novel regulatory mechanisms for the treatment of diabetes".
