The Changins meeting 2013 will take place on Thursday November 21st, 2013 at the Station de Recherche Agroscope Changins.
For more than 10 years, every fall, researchers from UNIL's and UNIGE's Faculties of Biology and Medicine have been gathering more or less at equal distance and just a stone's throw away from both cities at the "Station de Recherche Agroscope Changins", with the aim of presenting ongoing work and fostering interactions on the arc lémanique. Like last year, EPFL will join us on this occasion.
For the 2013 edition, external speakers have been invited under a specific theme, «Epigenetics: Mechanisms and clinical applications». For the poster session that will cover all research areas pursued at our faculties, we would like to specifically encourage Masters students, PhD students and Postdocs to submit their abstracts, from which some will be selected for oral presentations.
This familial meeting is a great opportunity to discover what scientists around the Lake are doing. There is the tradition of inviting outstanding, internationally renowned speakers; moreover, the meeting is free of charge, lunch is offered, and there will be a prize for the best poster - not to speak of the wine tasting session and apéro at the end of the scientific program.
Abstract submission deadline: October 30th, 2013
The meeting is free of charge but registration is required.
