The Department of Immunobiology performs cutting edge research on a variety of fundamental immunological processes, including the discovery and functional characterization of pathways that govern innate and adaptive immune responses, sterile and pathogen-driven inflammatory processes, cell death pathways and mechanisms of membrane fission and fusion.
