Research Topics

  • How the brain and behavioural mechanisms of attentional control towards visual and multisensory objects develop throughout childhood as a function of schooling experience and how these mechanisms in turn affect scholastic performance (chiefly literacy and numeracy) as well as by temporal predictability and semantic content.
  • How these mechanisms are affected in populations with specific disorders such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.
