Valérie Junod is Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne. She teaches Business Law, Contract Law and Innovation Law.
After studying law at the University of Geneva, Valérie Junod studied in the United States, first at the University of Pennsylvania (LL.M.), then at Stanford University (J.S.M.). Her doctoral thesis at the Geneva Faculty of Law (Walther Hug Prize 2006, Joseph Des Arts Prize 2007, Latsis Prize 2007) analyzes clinical trials of drugs.
Professor Junod focuses her research and publications on health law. She is co-editor of the law Review Life Science Recht.
Valérie Junod is also a Professor at the Geneva Faculty of Law where she teaches, at the Master's level, pharmaceutical law. She is counsel at a Geneva law firm and a member of the National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics.
