The 9th edition of the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM'12) will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 7-8, at the Maison des Congrès in Les Diablerets.

This year is the EPFL's turn to organize the LNAM and we are glad to propose an interesting scientific program on Friday:

  • Pico Caroni (FMI, Basel), our keynote speaker, will give a lecture on "How experience influences learning through local circuit switches" presenting his research from a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Lemanic young neuroscientists and group leaders will present their research with several short talks.
  • A poster session with more than 100 posters will allow participants to get an idea of the Neuroscience research in the Lemanic area.

On Friday evening we will have dinner in the Hotel Victoria, our warm-up to explore the local pubs and disco. Ask your colleagues about last year's evening!

Saturday morning will include a rountable on "Careers in Academia and Industry", and a presentation + discussion on "European funding, networks and opportunities". To cap the event, the Students' Committee will offer our traditional BBQ, hike, and football/volleyball competition.

We are looking forward to seeing you up in Les Diablerets for two days of science and fun!!
