The 10th edition of the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM'13) will take place on Friday and Saturday, 20-21 September, at the Maison des Congrès in Les Diablerets.

This year it is the University of Geneva's turn to organize the LNAM and we are glad to once again offer an exciting scientific program including:

  • Two reknowned speakers, who will talk to us about Brain Development:
    • Elizabeth Engle (Harvard University, Boston, USA)
"Cranial motor neuron guidance in development and disease"
    • Franck Polleux (Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, USA)
"The LKB1 kinase pathway as a master regulator of axon morphogenesis in mammalian neurons in vivo"
  • A number of short oral research presentations by junior Lemanic neuroscientists and group leaders.
  • A poster session with more than 100 posters, giving participants the opportunity to learn about ongoing research in neuroscience in the Lemanic area.

On Friday evening, a dinner will be organized at the Hotel Victoria, a prelude to exploring the local pubs and disco. Ask your colleagues about last year's special night!

The program for Saturday morning will be announced later. To cap the event, the Students' Committee will offer our traditional BBQ, hike, and football/volleyball competition.

We are looking forward to seeing you up in Les Diablerets for two days of science and fun!!
