The 12th edition of the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM'15) took place on Friday and Saturday, 28-29 August, at the Maison des Congrès in Les Diablerets.

Lectures of renowned international researchers in neuroscience were given as well as short oral research presentations by junior Lemanic neuroscientists and group leaders, e.g.

  • Keynote lecture by John Donoghue (Director of the Wyss Center for Bio- and Neuro-Engineering @ Campus Biotech Geneva)
  • Keynote lecture by Andres M. Lozano (Toronto Western Research Institute & Techna Institute for the Advancement of Technology for Health, Canada)
  • Talk by Pascal Senn (Western Switzerland University Cochlear Implants Center HUG & Inselspital Bern)

On Friday, August 28, a poster session gave participants the opportunity to learn about ongoing research in neuroscience in the Lemanic area. The famous Lemanic neuroscience dinner took place Friday night at the Hotel Victoria.

On Saturday, we had a special session on “Translating outcomes of neuroscientific research into clinical applications” with Markus von Kienlin and Thomas Mueggler (Preclinical Imaging @ Roche Neuroscience). Moreover, Saturday's program included our traditional Saturday lunch BBQ offered by the LNAM students' committee, giving even more room for interacting with colleagues.

Hope to see you next year!
