Visiting Scientist
Olivier Salamin is Biologist and visiting Scientist at the Metabolomics Platform, University of Lausanne. His research expertise is in targeted quantitative mass spectrometry-based method development and application to biomedical research, detection of pharmaceutical substances in human biological fluids and molecular biology.
He obtained his PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2021. He performed his thesis at the Center of Research & Expertise for antidoping sciences and at the Swiss Laboratory for Doping analysis. He joined the Metabolomics Platform for a 6-months project working on the effect of testosterone administration on the human lipidome.
