Agilent LC-MS 6550 iFunnel Q-TOF system


The Agilent LC-MS 6550 iFunnel Q-TOF is a high resolution system well suited for qualitative and quantitative metabolome and lipidome analyses. It oncorporates the Agilent Jet Stream thermal gradient focusing technology for improved sensitivity. Its TOF technology enables the data acquisition in full mass range mode (m/z 25 to 10,000) and delivers exceptional mass accuracy (<1ppm) and resolution (>20,000). High data acquisition rates of up to 50 spectra/second allow for maximum data collection during data-dependent (DDA) and data-independent (DIA) MS/MS experiments and thus facilitate metabolite identification in untargeted metabolomic experiments. Instrument is interfaced with Agilent 1290 Infinite UHPLC modules and equipped with ESI source.

Agilent LC-MS 6495 Triple Quadrupole system


Agilent 6495 LC-MS QqQ system is a highly sensitive and wide dynamic range instrument dedicated for targeted quantification of metabolites (and lipids) of interest. It can be operated in MS scan, MS/MS product ion-scan, MRM, neutral loss/gain, and precursor ion scan modes (mass range spans from 30-2250 m/z, scan speed up to 15000 u/sec). It is equipped with an Agilent Jet Stream ESI (interchangeable APCI) source offering the most efficient ionization at standard UPLC flow rates. The QqQ is interfaced with Agilent 1290 Infinite UHPLC modules. The possibility to schedule MRM (dynamic MRM) simplifies method development and allows several hundreds of metabolites to be quantified in a single run with optimal sensitivity and reproducibility.

ThermoFisher Scientific LC-MS Q Exactive™ Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap™ system


The QExactive Quadrupole Orbitrap is a high performance hybrid quadrupole mass spectrometer combining the high-field OrbitrapTM mass analyzer with a quadrupole precursor ion selection with high resolution (up to 140 000) and accuracy (< 1ppm) that can be achieved routinely. Data can be acquired in full-scan and all-ion fragmentation (AIF in-source CID and HCD) modes to ensure confident metabolite identification. The Q Exactive system is equally useful for untargeted and targeted screening in metabolomics. The instrument is interfaced with Thermo Accela 1250 UPLC pump and CTC PAL Analytics autosampler.
