Data stewards within the UNIL ecosystem

In order to meet the objectives set out in the Swiss National Strategy on Open Science, the UNIL Management has allocated an extraordinary fund for a period of 3 years (2022-2024). This measure has allowed the recruitment of data stewards who provide direct support to the UNIL research community in the transition to and maintenance of a new scientific culture necessary for Open research Data.

Within the UNIL ecosystem, the data stewards will serve as the first point of contact and support for researchers within the faculties, bridging the gap between the specific support (to a research area) and the general support provided by UNIRIS. The data stewards will also provide support and advice to the researchers by directing them to other expertise (persons or internal units) such as those of the DCSR, the CER, the PACTT, etc.
