I would recommend this course to health policy actors and health system researchers that seek to gain state-of-the-art knowledge and best practices in health equity. The course assembles some of the leading experts in various sub-disciplines of health equity together with participants from around the world. By using participatory and experiential learning approaches, the course encourages the sharing of experiences to enhance the facilitated sessions
John Eliasu Mahama from Ghana, Health Advisor with Millennium Promise Alliance and PhD Student in Health Policy and Management at the University of Ghana. Participated in 2022
It was a phenomenal experience. Great facilitators, well-rounded speakers, and a diverse and multicultural participant class. Wonderful friends made, and I look forward to coming back for a HE-reunion sometime soon. Lausanne is a beautiful city but more importantly, the HE tag-team of UNIL's Patrick and Kevin was absolutely the best!!!!
Michael Akagbor Doctoral Candidate of Sociology Ghana. Participated in 2022
A platform for interdisciplinary networking, which will expand your horizons and comfort zone.
Hugo Kirchner, South Africa. Participated in 2022
The summer school was great, provided me different topics to think about beyond the research. It was very useful to have discussions from the academic, political and social points of view. I enjoyed it a lot and I will use the new knowledge in my Ph.D. project.
Ana Oña, from Ecuador. PhD student at University of Lucerne in collaboration with Swiss Paraplegic Research. Participated in 2021
The organizers of the summer school managed to bring together a unique combination of speakers, bridging policy makers, researchers and international organizations. I highly recommend it!
