I received my Phd Concevoir et Imaginer. Imagination, Idée et Intelligibilité du Dualisme chez Descartes in 2012 from the University of Aix-Marseille (France), where I was 'allocataire-monitrice', then 'ATER'. After my maternity leave, I was invited lecturer at the University of Geneva during Spring 2013. I am currently 'première assistante' (research and teaching post-doctoral position) at the department of philosophy of the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).

My main areas of research are :

  • Descartes and early modern philosophy : theories of ideas, imagination, substances and the relationship between natural philosophy and metaphysics.
  • Philosophy of mind.
  • History of medicine, especially embryology and ontology of fetal development.

I'm also interested in metaphysics and practical rationality. I like to approach philosophical questions from a historical and from a contemporary point of view.
