The Experimental Microsurgery Facility (EMIF) is an extension of the Cardiovascular Assessment Facility. While the CAF offers microsurgical services of the cardiovascular system, this new facility aims to aggregate microsurgical expertise of the researchers of the UNIL and the CHUV.
The aim of this facility is to improve collaboration between groups with projects requiring specific expertise in microsurgery with those which are expert in it. When collaboration is not possible, the EMIF will offer microsurgical services and trained personnel.
