Track 1 ► toward track 2

The track 1 option enables the candidate to have a training period in a host laboratory for a maximum period of 6 months (please be aware that special visa conditions may apply for applications from outside of the EU) . The candidate may contact the host laboratory PI at any time during the year to  apply as a track 1 trainee.  Once accepted as a trainee the candidate must officially apply (before the end of the 6 month period) for selection into the PhD programme (deadline for application is twice a year) as explained below for track 2.

This will be followed by an invitation (step 2) of the selected candidates to participate in person to a 2 day visit, with an oral presentation and personal interviews.
