The CARLA

Founded in 2016, the Cognitive and Affective Regulation LAboratory (CARLA) gathers together the work of five professors (Joël Billieux, Elise Dan-Glauser, Peter Hilpert, Christine Mohr and Valentino Pomini) and one senior Lecturer (Anik Debrot). The CARLA aims at bridging research of the applied and basic sciences in the domain of cognition and affect. We focus on fundamental cognitive and affective processes regulating human behaviour, in particular in applied fields. Our ultimate goal is to understand how these fundamental processes shape our actions and nourish our resources to enhance health and well-being and can be used to improve therapeutic interventions.
