The r4d project teams met again at the University of Lomé for a two-day work. The meeting focused on a mid-term evaluation (administrative and scientific aspects) of the project "Adapting and strengthening educational guidance and career counseling to promote decent work in two West-African countries: Burkina Faso and Togo" started in November 2018 and ending in October 2022. The 4 doctoral students involved in this project presented their current thesis work followed by discussions with the participants. Discussions within the meeting also focused on the forthcoming publication of a book dealing with guidance and decent work in Africa, two manuals of interventions for career counseling professionals, and policy briefs for policymakers. On the other hand, within the framework of the Accelerating Grant sub-project "Promoting decent work through entrepreneurship in sub-Saharan Africa: Toward a test of innovative psychological-based approaches to counseling in Burkina Faso and Togo", which started in March 2021 for a duration of 12 months, it is planned to organize a training session for professionals as well as the development of an information platform regarding institutions that accompany people to entrepreneurship.
