The topic

This seminar will provide the essentials of human resources management for your organization—human resources management made accessible to small and medium-sized public and private organisations. Such organisations do not always have the resources necessary to develop true human resources management—one that goes beyond mere personnel administration. This seminar, and the operational tools that it provides to its participants, is aimed at filling that gap. In order to achieve this, we have developed a simple, pragmatic concept which will allow participants to rapidly and cost-effectively implement targeted, effective and well-adapted human resources management tools in their organisations.

Objectives

By the end of the seminar, participants will have:

  • Made an initial analysis of their human resources management situation;
  • Understood a summary presentation of all the processes in human resources management;
  • Learnt concrete human resources management tools adapted to the needs of their institutions and immediately operational;
  • Created individualised plans to implement human resources management within their organisations.
Target audience

Any persons responsible for human resources within their organisation, for example:

  • Senior managers or board members;
  • General secretaries;
  • Communal treasurers;
  • Administrative managers.
Teaching methods

The integrative character of this seminar’s approach requires an essentially participative teaching methodology, and this enables significant opportunities to adapt learning tools to participant’s professional situations and experiences. So that every student receives true, individualised support, this also means that the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 15.

Certificates

Participants who actively take part in the whole seminar will be awarded a certificate of participation awarded by IDHEAP.

Registration fees

The fee for the two-day seminar is CHF 950, which includes the implementation CD-Rom. This fee also includes all the written documentation, lunches and coffee breaks. Any participants deciding to withdraw from the seminar after the registration deadline will be charged CHF 300 for administrative costs.
