  • Find a topic and indicate your interest: Available topics are listed in the Choose a project section. Contact us to register your interest and check your eligibility.
  • Find an academic supervisor: Depending on the practices of your home faculty, you'll need to identify a teacher who's willing to supervise your work.If necessary, we can help you do this.In some cases, academic supervisors are identified in advance, and subjects are proposed directly by your teachers.
  • Consultation with stakeholders: A meeting is organized with the field partner, the student and the academic supervisor. This is used to agree on the project specifications.
  • Carrying out the work: You carry out the expected work and mobilize Confluence for field questions and collaborative methodologies.
  • Participate in project monitoring stages: 3 sessions (beginning, middle, end) are organized to facilitate mutual learning and support between projects.
  • Communicate results and assess impact: Completed projects are valorized, emphasizing results as well as learning. Original formats are encouraged. Impacts are evaluated and monitored over time.

  • Bring out the needs of the field, whether they come from partners in civil society or are proposed by teachers and students.
  • Bring together and facilitate meetings between stakeholders and students, to create a framework for collaboration (project specifications, deliverables, deadlines).
  • Support projects once they have been launched, and ensure that they run smoothly.
  • Valorize work and experiences, to pass on results in formats accessible to those working in the field. We also organize events to bring people together around partnership research projects.

  • Welcoming student interest: In most cases, students and partners in the field have discussed and agreed on a potential thesis theme. They then ask you to become their academic supervisor for the project. You can also propose topics based on your knowledge of the field, and benefit from Confluence's support.
  • Supporting the development of dissertation topics: you can support your students in the development of their dissertation topics, in accordance with your faculty's usual procedures.
  • Co-designing project specifications: You take part in an extended consultation session involving the field partner, the student and his/her academic supervisor.    This session leads to the definition of a project format, deliverables and a hosting period for the student. We provide logistical support.
  • Supervising the student's work: In accordance with the usual procedures, you provide academic supervision for your student. We are available and adapt to academic requirements. We ensure that the fieldwork runs smoothly and provide individual support on collaborative methodologies
