The academic ePortfolio

  • enables students to document in a comprehensible, complete, and internationally comparable way not only their general multilingual profile but also their specific academic and professional communication skills, intercultural skills and strategies
  • enables students to reflect upon their own language learning and intercultural skills, to plan and monitor their learning, thus supporting self-directed learning
  • is an interactive, flexible and supportive tool whose contents are created, assembled and continually updated the by the owner
  • expands the features of the Council of Europe's European Language Portfolio (ELP)
  • aims at providing recognition of students' multilingual and multicultural academic communication competence to third parties, especially to employers and allows employers to utilise employees' competences more effectively
