Travel insurance and medical, security and logistical assistance

To support employees who travel outside Switzerland as part of their professional activities, UNIL offers medical, security and logistical assistance, as well as travel insurance, as follows:

• Information and advice in preparation for your trip
• Payment of expenses
• On-site emergency response
• Safety analyses and up-to-date medical information by country, accessible via the www.internationalsos.com platform or smartphone app.

Employees receive a membership number on recruitment.

For further information, please contact your unit's HR secretariat or the Human Resources Department.

In the event of a claim, the policyholder undertakes to contact the insurer by telephone prior to any third-party intervention that may give rise to entitlement to insured benefits, failing which compensation may be reduced or even refused.
