Margins, environment, landscapes

Margins, environment, landscapes research group divides its research work into three main research areas:

  • To live in constrained environments, from the point of view of socio-environmental dynamics linked to isolated and/or constrained territories, such as mountain territories, the Arctic, or arid regions
  • Landscape conservation, from a participatory perspective on management practices as well as tourism and recreation development
  • Water, climate and society, from the study of topoclimatic systems and hydrosystems applied to societal issues
