The CREA Institute produces economic indicators.
The following indicators are currently available and regularly updated:
CREA Business Cycle Indexes: these indexes assess the current state of the economy in each of the 26 Swiss cantons and are converted into a heatmap to monitor business cycle conditions across Switzerland.
CREA Swiss Weakness Index: recession probabilities at the cantonal level are shown on a map and are aggregated into a single index that measures the weakness of the Swiss economy.
Cantonal GDP growth: our estimates measure cantonal GDP growth at quarterly and annual frequencies.
