The teams of students of HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne and of the Moscow State University won the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge on April 11 in Zurich. Thanks to its excellent performances, the HEC Lausanne team is enabling Switzerland to reach the world final for the second time. This final will take place in New York on April 25.

A great first for HEC Lausanne and Switzerland! The team of students from the Master’s in Finance at HEC Lausanne (University of Lausanne) won the world final of the highly prestigious CFA Institute Research Challenge last Friday (23 April) at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This excellent news hit the headlines of the Swiss French (Le Temps) and German (Finanz und Wirtschaft) economic press, while the participants concerned and their professor, Norman Schurhöff, came in for much praise. The Dean’s Office extended its warmest congratulations to them!
