Seminars & symposium

The DNF is active in transmitting knowledge to the neuroscience community by organizing different types of events.

Progress reports:
Every week, doctoral and postdoctoral students, as well as Principal Investigators (PIs), take the stage to present their ongoing research.

Research seminars:
Regularly, scientists from Swiss and international universities are invited to present their latest research findings.

Dual lecture series:
This series features a pair of lecturers who are partners both in their personal lives and in their independent research careers. They are invited to present their respective fields and discuss the challenges of balancing demanding professional responsibilities with personal life.

Distinguished lecture series:
This prestigious series hosts globally renowned speakers who are invited to share their groundbreaking insights and expertise, providing a unique opportunity to engage with thought leaders at the forefront of neurosciences.

Symposia:
Every two years, a day of conferences is organized, featuring local, national, and international neuroscientists who discuss a selected theme in neuroscience.

Unless otherwise indicated, the DNF seminars are held at the Petit Auditoire du DNF (1st floor), Rue du Bugnon 9, 1005 Lausanne
