Financial support for the mobility of UNIL teachers taking part in a BIP

Blended Intensives Programmes (BIPs) are a new mobility format. Each BIP combines online teaching with a short five-day period of physical mobility (similar to a summer or winter school) at a CIVIS university with students from all over the Alliance.

Activities

A stay of up to 2 weeks at a CIVIS Alliance member university for teaching activities only.

Conditions
  • SEMP agreement allowing teacher mobility signed with the host university
  • The CIVIS team is informed of the visit in advance
  • A minimum of eight hours of teaching is scheduled during the visit
  • The visit lasts between two days and two weeks, depending on the terms of the SEMP agreement.
Financial support

A UNIL teacher may participate in a BIP as a:

  1. Partner: the costs of travel and participation are covered by UNIL in accordance with the SEMP teaching exchange scheme.
  2. Coordinator: funding of CHF 6,000 to 8,000 (depending on the number of participants) is provided to cover organisational costs.
