Coming by plane

There are frequent direct trains from Geneva's and Zürich's airports to Lausanne's main train station. The train ride from Geneva is about 45 minutes, and 2,30 hours from Zürich.

The airport offers connections to the Swiss and European rail network. The SBB/CFF Geneva airport railway station has direct access to the airport Check-in and Arrival levels (a few minute indoor walk from the airport baggage claim area). More information: www.rail.ch/timetable

Tickets can be purchased at the distributers in the train station (Swiss francs, Euros or credit cards), at the station ticket wickets, at Ticket Shop CFF or – on landing in Geneva – in the baggage claim area (Arrivals level).
