Short Bio
The aim of my PhD is to examine factors that influence female brain health during chronological and endocrine ageing, using large-scale population cohorts such as the UK Biobank. I am particularly interested in the menopause and the factors associated with this transition, such as increased risk for obesity and cardiometabolic diseases. My PhD is a collaborative effort between researchers at various institutions including the LREN, the University of Oslo, Tübingen University, and the University of Oxford. Prior to this PhD, I completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Bristol (2020) and an MSc in Translational Neuroscience at Imperial College London (2021).
