How are the data processed?

The data on this form are stored and hosted so as to guarantee confidential and secure data processing (REDCap platform managed by Unisanté and hosted in a CHUV data centre).

For information on your rights in relation to data processing, please consult this page.

How are anonymity and confidentiality guaranteed?

At the end of the form, you can choose whether your report is only transmitted to the persons of trust external to UNIL (totally confidential), or whether you agree to have it sent to the UNIL Work and Study Climate Protection Officer (possible action by UNIL and use of the anonymised data for statistical purposes). You will also be able to choose whether your report is completely anonymous or whether you wish to indicate your contact details in order to be contacted. The transmission of data according to the selected options is managed by REDCap.

What happens after a report?
  • Anonymous and confidential: in this case, your report will be treated as completely confidential and will remain unknown to UNIL (no action can be taken). However, if the persons of trust receive several reports concerning the same entity or location, they may inform the Work and Study Climate Protection Officer of this convergence of reports, while preserving their anonymity, in order to allow for measures such as awareness campaigns.
  • Non-anonymous and confidential: your report will be treated as completely confidential and will remain unknown to UNIL (no action will be taken) and a person of trust may contact you to propose personalized support.
  • Non-anonymous and non-confidential: You will be contacted and UNIL may take action.
