In order to present an exam (including a seminar, written work, oral, etc), the student must be registered.
Registration to exams takes place during the 3rd and 4th weeks of the semester.
All exam registration that does not respect these rules shall be automatically canceled.
Information about exams (dates, forms, regulations) are on:
If you have any problem, please come at the Student exchange Office
Exchange students must present their exams at the official exam dates, in the same manner as local students (a written exam cannot be replaced by an oral exam, etc.). It is therefore forbidden to individually organise one’s exams with the professors.
We recommend being in the exam room 15 minutes before the beginning of the exam for the instructions.
Exchange students are allowed to bring a language dictionary but in paper format, not electronic (without any annotations) to their exams.
The exam results can be accessed via the following website: http://www.hec.unil.ch/resultats.
An official transcript will be sent only to the coordinator from your home university.
A failed exam during the winter or summer session can be re-taken a second and last time during the next catch-up session only (autumn session) on the dates set by the School. No application for a special or off-site examination will be considered.
The registration deadline is always by midnight on the last day of the 30th week of the calendar year (mid-July) and lasts 2 weeks. The registration process is the same as for other sessions.
Please consult the website or the billboards for more information.
Exam regulations, courses, etc., please consult the HEC Lausanne regulations.
