Agroecology

Français | English

The "Agroecology" initiative brings together researchers from different disciplines who focus on ecologically sustainable and socially just agri-food systems. Based on a common will to deconstruct the ideology of modernist agricultural development, our interests include: soil science, permaculture, agroforestry, social movements, the city-nature relationship, sustainability and resilience of food systems, agrarian economics and politics, relationships between humans and other living beings, etc.

We meet twice a month to present and discuss our work, whether completed or in progress, and to share our experiences. These contribute to the reflections on the future of agro-eco-systems. Practical activities, cultural and scientific events for the wider public are all part of the ambitions of the Agroecology initiative.

An "Agroecology" conference took place on 4 November 2020, the event's participants founded this initiative.

The collective meets every other Monday from 12:00 to 13:15.
