Set of scenarios for the development of academic communication competence (WP4)

The project will design a transversal module with at least five scenarios for both the BA and the MA-cycle, including innovative and effective types of activities composed of series of tasks with aligned assessment forms and criteria for academic and professional purposes.

As a basis for curriculum design and in order to be transparent and transnational and consistent, the scenarios:

  • are related to the constitutive elements of multilingual and multicultural academic communication competence defined in the conceptual framework

  • build where possible on the well-established and trans-sectorial reference levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for transnational coherence in a lifelong learning perspective

  • use the five-stage Quality Model of the LanQua LLP-project 2007 – 2010 to guide reflective practice in designing and evaluating curricula in the field of languages.
