Assistante diplomée (2007-) Université de Lausanne
I am a Maître Assistante (Lecturer) in Old and Middle English at the University of Lausanne. I have published on a range of topics, but my research interests lie mainly in gender studies, translation studies, vernacular hagiography, paleography, and Chaucer studies. I welcome mémoires in any of these subjects. I am currently working on a monograph dealing with Chaucerian messengers as metapoetic devices expressing the poet’s reflections on his role within the literary tradition. Concurrently, I am turning into a book my doctoral dissertation on the representation of holy harlots in the vernaculars of medieval England.
