I am a plant ecologist interested in the evolution of lineages. I'm currently looking at the evolution of dioecy from hermaphroditism comparing transitions via gynodioecy to those via monoecy. My previous work has included examining the role of biome shifts in lineage diversification, macroevolution of mast seeding, and genomic downsizing in the New Zealand flora. You can find out more about my work and publications on my website https://estherdale.github.io/
