UNIL students represent the core target of the entrepreneurial spirit strategy, since it aims above all to provide them with useful tools for their transition into the professional world and the development of their career.
For those who will work in a company, they will be asked to be a force of proposal, or even to act as "intrapreneurs", that is as entrepreneurs within the structure that employs them by developing proposals for evolution and change. For others, they will be entrepreneurs or self-employed at one point or another in their career. Indeed, the latest GUESSS study, carried out in 2018 and in which UNIL took part, shows that 20% of UNIL students are entrepreneurs or self-employed five years after the end of their studies.
