CIVIS for researchers

The CIVIS Alliance enables a new type of cross-border cooperation around five interdisciplinary areas of research and education that are linked to the CIVIS values and closely related to the UN's sustainable development goals and UNIL's plan of intent:

• Cities, spaces and mobilities
• Digital and Technological transformation
• Climate, Environment, Energy
• Society, Culture and Heritage

CIVIS for researchers means:​​​​​​​

• An easier access to a European and collaborative environment (partnerships, seed funding, etc.)
• Support for the development of research activities with partner universities
• The opportunity to work on interdisciplinary and international projects focusing on tomorrow's societal challenges
• A professional network at European and international level
• A platform for exchange and experimentation
• Numerous opportunities for multidisciplinary research in the network of eleven European member universities and six African partner universities.
