Professor Stefano Caneppele

Stefano Caneppele is an Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne, where he teaches Criminal Law courses including Sport, Criminality and Integrity.

 

Previously he was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. He also worked at Transcrime on several international and national research projects (www.transcrime.it) (2002-2015).

 

In 2006, he was awarded an International Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Trento. Between July and December 2007 he spent six months as a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia). He is an Associate Editor of the European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research (Springer). His research interests focus on crime analysis, crime prevention, security, organised and economic crime.
