Valérie Junod is an Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne. She teaches Business Law, Contract Law and Innovation Law.
After studying law at the University of Geneva, Prof. Junod studied in the United States, first at the University of Pennsylvania (LL.M.), then at Stanford University (J.S.M.). Her doctoral thesis at the Geneva Faculty of Law (Walther Hug Prize 2006, Joseph Des Arts Prize 2007, Latsis Prize 2007) analyses clinical trials of drugs.
Prof. Junod focuses her research and publications on health law. She is a co-editor of the law review, Life Science Recht.
Prof. Junod is also a Professor at the Geneva Faculty of Law where she teaches pharmaceutical law at the Master's level. She is counsel at a Geneva law firm and a member of the National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics.
