Christoph Kern is a Professor at the Chair for German Law of the University of Lausanne (substitute Professor since fall 2014), Professor and Co-Director of the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws and International Business Law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
Prof. Kern holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, and was a Visiting Professor for Comparative Civil Procedure at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC.
Since 2017, he is Co-Reporter of the ELI-UNIDROIT Project: From Transnational Principles to European Rules of Civil Procedure, Working Group “Judgments”.
